1. Packing & Insurance
   Our Bali team has over 25 years of experience packing goods for export with a very low breakage rate. However, unexpected damage can occur during shipping or handling, and we cannot take responsibility for damaged items or incorrect orders from suppliers. If you are concerned about this, we recommend arranging your own personal insurance.
    

2. Moisture & Mould Prevention
   We use silica gel and super-dry bags in our containers to minimise moisture. However, wooden items must be made from fully dried timber—please confirm this with your supplier, as improperly dried wood may arrive mouldy.
    

3. Timber Movement During Transit
   Natural timber may split, warp, or shrink during transport. Please check with your supplier to ensure all wooden components are properly kiln-dried before purchase.
    

4. Items Requiring Special Treatment or Permits
   • Some products require fumigation or special Indonesian or Australian permits. Please check with our staff before buying items made from or containing:
   • Feathers (cannot be imported into Australia — no exceptions)
   • Banana leaf
   • Water hyacinth
   • Mendong
   • Sea grass
   • Alang-alang grass
   • Certain shells
   • Certain raw or unprocessed wood or wooden slabs (Finished slab furniture is generally acceptable.)
    

5. Oversized or Excessively Heavy Items
   RIM Cargo may refuse items that are too heavy or oversized for safe handling. Please check with us before purchasing items of this nature.
   
    

Shipping Schedule Notice

To ensure competitive shipping rates, our containers depart Bali only when full. As a result, we cannot guarantee exact departure or arrival dates.
